The Equity Committee canalises the institute's efforts to promote equal opportunity and looks after female and non-binary staff in order to ensure the workplace is a safe space.
The Equity Committee has developed the ICE-CSIC Code of Conduct.
This committee also compiles and promotes relevant documentation on gender issues already available within CSIC and other pertinent institutions, identifying measures that we can implement locally to improve and prevent and/or handle bullying and harassment.
Members involved also address possible administrative hurdles for non-Spanish residents regarding mobility and contract matters, strengthening equal opportunities within the Institute.
The institute promotes equal opportunities and has a commitment to make the work of female researchers visible, especially through outreach initiatives.
The communication office at ICE fosters visibility actions for women scientists both within and outside the institute, especially for outreach purposes. We also use and promote non-sexist language.
Find more about the women working at ICE in these videos on the occasion of the International Women's Day 2021 and International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2022.
This email address shall be the official communication channel with the Equity committee. However, you can contact the members involved individually in case of need.
Meet the researchers involved. Feel free to contact them individually if you need to reach out a confidential contact point.
