Systems Administrator

The successful candidate will join the systems administrator team to manage the IT infrastructure of the Institute of Space Sciences (120 users approx.). The ideal candidate will be proficient (or have interest) in advanced managing of:

  • Linux systems based on Debian.
  • LXC Linux containers.
  • Networks: VLAN, NAT, Switching, Routing and IP tables.
  • Windows Systems
  • Installation, configuration and management of OpenVPN.
  • LDAP
  • Disk storage Space: mdadm, LVM, NFS
  • Certifying Authorities and certificate generation.

Knowledge in computation cluster management (SLURM, management of shared files, etc.) will be valued positively.

Usual working languages are Catalan, English and Spanish.

Type of contract

Full time contract. Salary according to the candidate's value and to CSIC's official salary scale.
